About the store
From a family of educators, I personally have 11 years teaching experience in public, private, county, city, domestic and international schools and private tutoring for students ages 7 and up, including adults. My mom, who has taught almost all elementary grade levels, and I have collaborated on numerous activities and ideas. In my experience in high school, I realize those kids are little kids in big bodies! So many activities geared toward lower levels are also appropriate for ESL students of any age.

Spanish Cognate and False Amigo Word Wall

Think outside the box. Give students a little say-so in what activities they do to practice, study, and learn their new Spanish vocabulary. Help make it real to them by encouraging real-life Spanish interaction with genuine conversation.
Directions: Students complete 3 activities total from the entire board, 3 in a row horizontally, vertically, or criss-cross. Realistic time frame for due date is 1 to 1 1/2 week depending on grade and age of students.

Let your creative juices flow with this food-themed menu project! Students choose their favorite foods, descriptions, pictures, layout, etc. for project-based learning. Present to the class in the target language, highlighting the basic layout and a few specific foods/descriptions.

Brainstorm carousel for students to rotate for Present Tense verb conjugations. Review verbs together and let kids indicate whether the verbs are correct or not with a thumbs-up or thumbs-down. Good activity for student engagement, especially when used with differntiated groups.
