I have been teaching elementary school for over 14 years now! Most of that time has been spent as a classroom teacher, but I've also been a reading and math interventionist. After spending several years in 5th grade the last few have been spent in 1st grade where I hope to stay for years to come!

Experience
I have been teaching elementary school for over 14 years now! Most of that time has been spent as a classroom teacher, but I've also been a reading and math interventionist. After spending several years in 5th grade the last few have been spent in 1st grade where I hope to stay for years to come!
Teaching style
I tend to take a more constructivist approach to teaching and include hands on learning as much as possible. You will also see many elements of Responsive Classroom and Culturally Responsive Teaching in my approach.
