As you’ve unpacked the 4th ELA Shift, you now know that text-dependent answers are necessary in order to master CCSS responses. I developed this product to assist with promoting text-based responses in my students’ writing. I hope you find them just as helpful in your endeavors! This is a simple-to-implement Writer's Choice Board. This is a great way to differentiate your student’s writing tasks! Assignments can be easily embedded in writer’s workshop, writing notebooks, or as an option for the dreaded “downtime.”

These Common Core Poster's will make it super easy to communicate the standards to your students. Each poster contains one standard written in a "You will" statement for students to understand. The bottom has the standard number for easy lesson planning/filing.
