About the store
My name is Kailyn, and I'm the teacher behind Toadstool Learning! I have taught for many years in a variety of different settings but always come back to my love of teaching about nature. Younger learners are my favorite, I just really appreciate their curiosity and sense of adventure.
I started Toadstool Learning in the summer of 2020, as I transitioned out of the classroom. I create learning materials that are both nature-based and Montessori-inspired. I love sharing these materials with you and hope they inspire you to explore with your students.

Make Your Own Peace Book
An activity in peace education for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Lower Elementary students. Students create their own 9-page book by coloring the pictures that accompany the definition of the word peace. The last three pages include space for them to draw or write what peace means to them. Includes: A page representing each letter of the word peace with a definition A page for what peace looks like, feels like, and sounds like Instructions for assembling the book
