Addition / Subtraction Shopping Project: Book Order
Here is another use for all those Scholastic Book Order forms we get every month! Students will practice shopping and ordering books from Scholastic Book Orders and use this order form to practice addition and subtraction. -Activity can be differentiated: providing different budgets, providing catalogs with decimal prices, etc. -Can be used as a math center activity, extension for 2nd graders, addition/subtraction practice with whole numbers for 3rd graders, or decimal practice for 4th graders.
