This activity reinforces several skills in the Standards for Mathematical Practice. Students will be practicing multiplication and division facts. Rounding skills, and identifying even numbers as well as outliers. The Venn Diagram helps students see the relationships between numbers . Teacher instruction page and answer keys included.

This Vocabulary activity can be used in any subject areas including Fine Arts to social studies.Building content vocabulary is essential in the students learning of the content that is being presented. This activity builds cooperative learning skills and total participation from all students into the lesson. There are student accountability sheets that encourage active engagement and hold students accountable for their learning.

Building fluency for students is becoming an intregal piece of students success in language arts. This is a fluency routine that I have implemented in my classroom everyday. I have seen tremendous growth in students decoding skills as well as comprehension. Teaching students the components of fluency and practicing everyday allows students to put thier energy in the comprehension, analyzing, and inferring strategies of the stories they are reading.
