Are your students struggling to visualize decimals? My students struggled to picture what a "thousandth" or a "hundredth" really meant. I had students asking me if decimals were negative numbers... I knew then that expanded form, comparing decimals and rounding decimals was going to be tough if they weren't able to picture what a decimal was. Teaching style

As teachers, the worst thing we can do is make learning seem boring. The best thing we can do is ignite in students a curiosity and love of learning that surpasses our classroom walls and changes the world.
