About the store

I have been teaching for 9 years! I have taught 1st, 3rd grade and 5th grade in the states of Missouri, Kansas and California. I have also had experience working with K-5 in before and after school programming and volunteer roles. In addition to my education roles, I have worked as a curriculum developer for children's ministry content too! In all my roles and my created content, you'll see that I highly value student engagement and making learning fun and meaningful.

In this activity, students will be challenged not only to create a pie chart based on Conversation Heart colors, but in the process will practice the skill of converting a fraction to a decimal to a percent! *Conversation hearts not included obviously... but go pick them up at your local grocery or convenient store!
