This is a fun hand-on activity to get your students talking about hand-eye coordination, brain development, sensory experiences, toy safety, and much more. Students can work in small groups or individually. Students will make 3 types of sensory dough and rate each one using the sheet provided. I have also include 3 easy dough recipes.
This is a fun way to help students practice using alliteration. They are tasked to make up sentences with five or more like sounding words. Can be used as a timed challenge for the whole class, as homework or just an in-class assignment. Can also be used as part of your children's lit unit!

This list of books is a wonderful resource for adding new books about diversity and inclusion in your classroom. Each book is a must read! Download the list for free and start reading! This list can be used to help students find books for their CDA credentials or could be used in a child development class as a resource.
The objective of this assignment is to encourage students to engage in meaningful conversations with their parents. This sheet is meant to be a springboard for conversation. Students can development more questions as they go. Although there is not a written summary within this worksheet, I have my students write a short summary to go with it before turning it in. I also take volunteers to share in front of the class.
