Nicole San Miguel is a dedicated Special Education teacher currently serving in the Adapted Education Program for Children with Autism at an elementary campus. With 23 years of experience, Mrs. San Miguel brings a wealth of expertise to her classroom. She is trained in TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication-Handicapped Children), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) methodologies. Her classroom serves students in 3rd through 5th grade on the autism spectrum, and is thoughtfully designed to meet their individual needs. Mrs. San Miguel’s primary goals are to provide a structured and supportive learning environment, address communication challenges, and reduce the occurrence of challenging behaviors through proactive and personalized strategies.
