Teena Trick has a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education from University of Calgary. She began teaching music at 16 years of age. She conducting a cadet marching band at 20 years old, and writing extensively for the marching band. Teena was taught in school band programs, and elementary programs for many years. In 1989 Teena was invited to become the Provincial Music Coordinator in BC for the Cadet Music Program. In that term, she was enabled to put together a team of musicians to write the Air, Army and Sea Cadet March books which are online today. This project was funded by the Department of National Defense to help build Cadet Bands.
