This packet is designed for struggling writers to write paragraphs, which require students to cite evidence. Two templates are provided, one for a paragraph integrating two pieces of evidence, and the other template for integrating one piece of evidence. Sentences starters (e.g. sentence stems) are provided that can be used in virtually any evidence based literary writing task. A sample paragraph is provided, along with a holistic scoring rubric and a self assessment checklist.
