As students grow, we like to prepare them for what comes next. Something we don't always think about is the so-called "basics" we have all come to know and understand. Banking can be a complex topic with lots of nuances, questions, and confusion. This slide deck is designed to walk students through the main points of what banking is, what kind of vocab they need to know, what types of accounts they might need, and how to make safe payments, including writing their own checks.
