This personalized student literacy plan can be used as a progress monitoring tool to identify student strengths and weaknesses within their literacy development. This tool can be used at the beginning of the school year with your RTI students and your special education students to progress monitor their growth and literacy development throughout the school year.

For students with diverse learning needs, this portable math word wall supports basic concepts. Providing students with a visual, supports their learning needs.

I use this particularly with my students who have emotional/behavioral challenges. I have implemented real pictures to help them self identify with real human reactions. Just print, laminate, cut and paste on to students desk.

Literature circles are a collaborative student-centered learning strategy. There are only four strategies incorporated into the "zip" file: Crafty Creator, Expert Evaluator, Literature Leader, and Passage-to-Personal. These strategies are intended to be used for students who are working in small literature groups or in reading centers. All you have to do is print, laminate, and cut. This product can be used with spelling words, phonemic skills, and word work skills. I have used this in word work stations. This helps students visually see the vowels and consonants, but also how the surrounding consonants influence the vowels.

This spelling rubric engages students to help determine their grades on their spelling homework. Teachers will have students complete their section of the rubric and teachers will complete their section. This provides students with motivation and engagement into their learning.
