This food lab home assignment allows students with excused absences the opportunity to make-up missed food labs. The assignment grants students' the opportunity to participate in practical food labs, gives parents a close-up view of what their child has learned in the kitchen, encourages family communication, dining-in, and kitchen & food safety techniques. Parent/guardian critique and pictures provides documentation of the completed home experience.
