I am about to begin my 6th year of teaching. My first year, I taught 4th and 5th grade language arts. I changed schools after that and taught third grade. We decided that year to loop with our students, so I had the opportunity to teach those same kids in fourth grade. Then I went back down to third and took the next group to fourth as well. This year, I am moving to a new school and will be teaching fifth grade.

Experience

Additional biographical information
I started teaching later in life. I quit a job to stay at home with a child, then returned to school for elementary education. This is the one job I have had where I look forward to going to work each day!
