About the store
Hello fellow teachers! My name is Traci. I grew up in a small town in Texas. I started off as a teacher's aide for special needs classrooms and did that for 2 years while working on my degree. In 2020, I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and completed an internship as a 6th grade social studies teacher. In 2021, I moved to PA, where I took on the role as a Pre-K Counts teacher while I worked on getting my Pennsylvania teaching certification. Pre-K Counts is where I have stayed ever since! In 2024, I graduated with my Master's Degree in Technology for Online Learning. So I love to create online resources for other teachers to use!

Start off your classroom strong with this bundle made perfect for Pre-K! Use the center signs to label your centers for children to put their name tags at to indicate who is at that center and if the center is full or not! Use the child name tags for them to take with them to the centers. I start the year off using the one with their photos on them until they begin to recognize their name. At the second half of the year, I switch to the name tags without their photo. At the beginning of the year

This resource was created to be used with the Creative Curriculum Mighty Minutes 95: Sorting Syllables. Print, cut, and laminate the numbers. Then print, cut, and laminate the pictures. Lay out the numbers on the floor or table, then invite children to choose a photo card. Clap out the syllables of that photo and have the child place the photo with the correct number corresponding to how many syllables the word has.

DIRECTIONS: Print these onto paper or cardstock, then cut each paper in half (I usually do a front and back so students can have a choice on which shape they would like to work on). Students use play-doh to make their own creation on the shape (such as a face for the scarecrow or leaves for the tree).

These Dalmatian-print pastel-colored name tags are a perfect addition to your classroom! Use these to label items in the classroom, or for children to use when they are choosing their centers each day. This helps young children recognize their name by connecting it to their photo. Simply print out the nametags, paste a photo of the child, and laminate! If you are using them for center-choosing, put a velcro dot on the back!

Use these Dalmatian-print pastel-colored name tags to label your classroom and student items! You can also use them when students are choosing centers later in the year, after they can already recognize their name (I recommend using the ones with photos first for this purpose).
