This product includes the first 224 words from Rebecca Sitton's list of 1,200 high-frequency words in everyday writing.I did leave out 3 or 4 words. I also included alphabet headers Aa-Zz in the same size. These labels are meant to be printed on Avery Shipping Labels 8163. They could also be printed on letter size paper and cut out. Not only are they useful for bulletin board use, but also for small groups or independent practice.

I created this product when our 2nd graders were required to compose a narrative procedure. This organizer will help you guide your students through the process of composing a 7-paragraph essay that includes: introduction, materials, procedures, and conclusion. This is a two-page file that will allow your students to make a four page/flap flipbook, detailing four steps need to make/do something. I am using this with my 2nd graders to explain how silk is made (Core Knowledge curriculum). I created this for third grade CCSS W.2: informational/explanatory. It has the standard and its components listed at the top. It includes an introductory paragraph, three evidence paragraphs, and a conclusion paragraph.
