Tranquility in Teaching

My professional teaching career began in 2004 and I have been a classroom teacher ever since! My professional educator license in is Elementary Education (K-9). Additionally, I have endorsements in English as a Second Language (K-12), Language Arts (5-8), Social Sciences (5-8), and Spanish (K-4).

My goal as an educator is to improve the academic and social-emotional growth of all students. I manage student behavior with a trauma-sensitive lens and work diligently to create a classroom community that emphasizes relationships and connection. Data is used to design instruction that differentiates for all learners. Technology is integrated in my classroom to increase both student learning and engagement.
