Transition 101

This is a version of the Would You Rather game. In this career edition of the game, students will choose between different careers or work environments. How to Play:Option A:· Spread cards out on a table. · Have a student choose a card. · Student will read the card aloud and answer the question. · Student or teacher will choose a few other students to respond as well. · Place the card in a discard pile. · Have another student come up and choose a card. · Repeat. House Hunters is a series that follows individuals, couples, and families through either purchasing or renting a home. It shows the journey through three different possibilities with each house hunter stating the pros and the cons of each of these selections. At the end they review the three homes and make a decision that best fits them. This worksheet helps students track certain facts about each of the places in which the house hunters explore and gets their opinion at the end. It works for an

Students will learn from each other in this Career Cluster Presentation. Students will develop an eight-slide presentation that they will use to teach the class about one of the sixteen career clusters. Instructions are laid out by slides and includes a rubric that can be used for grading.

This is a great way to get to know your students and view their writing skills. Students will start with filling in the graphic organizer which will help them develop their ideas of what they will include in their letter. Once completed they will take their information and develop a letter to their teacher. This is also a great project for the end of the year that they can write to their future teachers.
