Looking for something quick, fun, and digital to get your students engaged? Get your day/lesson started with these interactive Pear Deck slides. There are 40 unique activities that work best for students in grades 3-6, but there are plenty of activities that work for any age and ability.. You will need the Pear Deck extension for the interactive features. Alternatively, you can project these slides for a whole group activity or print them.

This middle/upper grades activity is a great for a brain break or for getting to know students likes and tastes at the beginning of the year. Each student gets a chance to highlight what they personally find to be beautiful. It makes for a great class discussion as students find similarities and contrasts with their classmates choices. Student Directions: Find a slide and type your name on it. Find images for each category to show your aesthetic, or what you judge to be beautiful.
