About the store
I’ve been in the classroom for over 10 years, teaching little humans how to read, write, count, share, reflect, and believe in themselves. I’m a New York City educator with a heart for social-emotional learning, inclusive practices, and the kind of teaching that makes kids feel like they matter. In my shop, you’ll find resources that are tried, tested, and teacher-approved—created during real moments with real students. I believe learning should feel like connection, not compliance. My games and activities are built to engage, excite, and bring joy into your room. If you're the kind of teacher who keeps a stash of velcro dots in your desk, cries during morning meeting, and believes that lamination is a love language, welcome home.

Teaching style

I believe that meaningful learning begins with meaningful relationships. When students feel seen, safe, and respected, they’re ready to take risks, explore, and grow. No significant learning can happen without a foundation of trust. The resources in this shop are designed to spark joy, build connection, and make learning feel like play. Whether you're looking for engaging games, hands-on activities, or low-prep tools that kids actually love—you're in the right place. Let’s make learning magical (and yes... lamination is life).

Additional biographical information

Hi, I’m Alex Crisafi — a progressive educator, storyteller, and creative curriculum designer based in New York City. As a proud transgender teacher with over a decade of experience in early childhood and elementary education, I bring heart, humor, and purpose to everything I create. I specialize in inclusive, trauma-informed resources that nurture student identity, emotional intelligence, and community connection. My materials are grounded in real classroom experience, often inspired by the joyful chaos of my own students and the ever-evolving conversations we have about the world. You’ll find resources here that are accessible, affirming, and culturally responsive — whether you're teaching math through storytelling, fostering restorative classroom culture, or looking for fresh ways to celebrate student voice. Thank you for supporting a queer creator and educator. Together, we can create classrooms that feel safe, seen, and inspired.
