I’ve been in the classroom for over 10 years, teaching little humans how to read, write, count, share, reflect, and believe in themselves. I’m a New York City educator with a heart for social-emotional learning, inclusive practices, and the kind of teaching that makes kids feel like they matter.

Creative Curriculum TSG The First Six Weeks 3K and Pre-K Lesson 1-7 Vocabulary
If you’re a 3K or 4K teacher and use the Creative Curriculum look no further! This will get you started with teaching visuals and vocabulary. It includes a parent form, a bulletin board activity and countless vocabulary words for the first week of school. All you need to do is print and laminate!

Gumball Counting Activity 1-10
Count using real pieces of gum, I PROMISE your kids will be engaged and count with you to whatever number you want! Print these and laminate them for longer use. This is a great small group math activity - print multiple copies and use a key ring to hold the sets together. Put pieces of gum inside the machine! Slides go from 1-10. Use a ten frame to help organize the counters used.

Find the Letter/Number
Print and laminate multiple pages - use page protectors and put in binder. Directions: Use a small toy car and ask your child to find a letter or number on the mat. If the number or letter isn’t on the mat say, “OH NO! We have no parking!” You can change the letters and numbers if you’d like. upper case/lower case pages available. This is an excellent game to play in centers.

Counting Bears - How many bears in all?
Use counters or little bears - you can even use beans/buttons! Ask student to count out the number of bears. Play a game and ask the child to hide bears in the cave! This game goes to 10 - print and laminate each page - or use a page protector if you are in a rush. Quick small group activity! Prompt: How many bears are there in all? Sentence stem: There are ____ bears in all...

Counting Bear Manipulatives (One more, one less)
One More/ One Less Bear Game Print and laminate all pages. You can use a page protector and a binder if you are short on time. Have your students say the number on the chart. Count out each bear and say the number out loud. Write the number before, then write the number that comes after - prompt them by asking: What is one more than ____? What is one less than ___? This math activity is wonderful for a small group of children working on counting with 1 to 1 correspondence, counting with fluency

Print and laminate this activity! This is fun because you can incorporate the names of your kids and it will sound like a poem when you read it (Sing it like a chant!) Purchase comes with 10 slides.

This is a quick prep activity that you can do with your students in a small group. All you need to do is cut 10 rockets. It's your choice to laminate the pages or not. Hi, I’m Alex Crisafi — a progressive educator, storyteller, and creative curriculum designer based in New York City. As a proud transgender teacher with over a decade of experience in early childhood and elementary education, I bring heart, humor, and purpose to everything I create.
I specialize in inclusive, trauma-informed resources that nurture student identity, emotional intelligence, and community connection.
