This is a great way to integrate the arts into your fable unit. This was written for a second grade class, but could be appropriate for first or third graders depending on reading levels. There are four characters in the script.
The packet contains a pre-reading activity, as well as, guided reading lessons with vocabulary and questions for each chapter. Each lesson contains a readers response.
I use this rubric as a quick check for my student's writing. I look at 5 entries when using one rubric.
