Activity Directions: There are rules every witch and wizard must follow in order to create a successful potion. If you fail to follow these directions not only will your potion be unsuccessful, but it will EXPLODE! Lastly and most importantly you must decide how much of each ingredient you will. Every successful potion will have a total of 600 ounces, no more and no less! Use addition and subtraction to create your potion! Draw the magic potion you have created in the cauldron!

This activity allows students to practice multiple mathematic properties while planning a class party! Students will be given a budget and catalog in order to plan their party. Students will work together to create a party their peers would want to attend while studying topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, decimals, and budgeting!
