About the store

Experience

Most of my experience has been in the state of Georgia. I have been teaching for 18 years, 2 years in Gifted Education, 5 years teaching 5th grade, and 10 years in fourth grade. This year I will be teaching 3rd for the 1st time.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have presented at local and state level science conventions and been chosen to serve on my county's math textbook adoption committee. I was also honored by my school board for being distinguished Title One teacher.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama and a Master's Degree in Middle Grade's Social Studies from the University of West Georgia.

In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and spending time with my adorable golden retriever, Hurley.
