These task cards reinforce linear and angular velocity. There are various types of problems.
* find w, given theta and time
*find v, given s and time
* find w, given rpm
*find v, given w and r
There are some story problems also. Many great ways to use these cards.
These task cards are great practice for all types of reference angle problems. The first ten are the easiest and the most straightforward. Trig functions are then used when practicing the reference angles. Students should be familiar with exact values for their trig functions as the last ten (31-40) use exact values.
This a a task card matching set. I have used negative exponents only in this 10 pair set. This can be mixed with my other download of positive exponents only. The cards can be interchanged.
These 10 match cards are the beginning to the student's logarithm experience. These include positive whole exponents ONLY. Add to your practice batch with more of my logarithm uploads.
This is a great practice set of problems for initiating converting from DMS to decimal degree form. I like to have my students do this by hand and not just know how to punch in buttons on a calculator.
These task cards are great practice for the new learner and a great remediation tool for those that need a little extra help. 1-10 and 21-30 are simple radian to degree and degree to radian conversions. 11-20 and 31-40 use decimal degrees and degrees, minutes, and seconds. Many different activities are provided. There is not just one way to use task cards.
These problems are good for a review of Pythagorean Theorem. Trig students need to be prepared for finding the third side of the triangle when doing trig. The first five problems are pictures, the second use typical a,b,c values, the third uses coordinates (x,y) and then find r, and then the last five problems are story problems. This is a great quick review. :)
These task cards are great reinforcing material for your students to practice. There are a few methods that can be used for the task cards. (Individual or Group work ) These can be used as a introduction or a remediation type tool.

Do your students need practice with Trig cofunctions? These cards progress in ability levels and fun. There are many different ways to do task cards and a list of ways is given to you the user.
This is an introduction to the different polygons and the method to find interior angles. By going through this process students will make some conclusions about the different relationships between the number of diagonals and the sum of the interior angles. From this, students will find one interior angle if the polygon is regular. The chart includes polygons with sides 3-12. Sometimes I leave out an eleven sided polygon so that they think and don't just use the pattern. My goal is that the
This trigonometry quiz tests students' understanding of reference angles, coversions between radians and degrees, and odd and even functions. This is a multiple choice test. The answer is included on the 3rd and 4th pages and marked in red.
