The Little Piano Board Game is a great way to practice turn taking skills, counting, literacy, story comprehension and sportsmanship! This board game includes scenes from "The Little Piano" and allows students to have fun while identifying the components of the story. To play, simply print the game board, character pieces, and number dice on card stock or thick paper. Use tape to assemble the dice and character pieces. Have fun! "The Little Piano" Roll and Cover: Addition to 12

Roll and Cover is a fun way to practice math fluency to 12! Based on "The Little Piano" book characters, this activity is great for "done work" or math centers. Students simply roll two dice, add, then cover the sum. Allow students to play independently, in groups of two, or against a partner. Wait there is more! Come join Lyric the piano and all of her friends as they make writing numbers and counting fun! This is a great way for children to practice their fine motor skills as well as counting with a ten frame. Students count the number of instrument friends, and color in the each square on the ten frame representing the number of instruments they see. Wait there is more!
