The Animal Adaptations Unit can be used to teach the different types of adaptations and includes hands-on tasks to reinforce student learning. In this Morphology Unit, students will study word parts throughout the school year. In this unit, you will find a weekly schedule, a list of affixes, examples of anchor charts, and graphic organizers to teach each new word part. Students will have the chance to break apart new words, find new words in the dictionary, and show their understanding of new definitions by writing sentences or illustrating the word's meaning.

These graphic organizers can be used for learning about Morphology, or the study of words. Each graphic organizer has a section for the chosen word part and definition and additional sections for new words, sentences, and/or illustrations.
