Middle School Flower Anatomy & Disection
This activity displays the location of flower parts along with students displaying their knowledge on the function of flowers. This worksheet flows along with my Parts of a Flower presentation. During teaching, I went through the presentation and during that time I had students label the parts of their flower and write down the functions. After, we dissected flowers. During this process, students found each part of the flower. When they found the parts, I asked that they use clear tape and tap

I am a student at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. Currently, I am practicing agriculture education along with an emphasis in technical education.
Teaching style
When teaching, I love to teach students interactively. I have experienced the idea of interactive notebooks. With that, I try to make my lessons and activities flow with the use of interactive notebooks. As we know as educators, not all students learn the same. I am always willing to change my teaching style to accommodate my students.
My own education history
To start off, I fell in love with agriculture in my own high school classroom. From there, I attended the University of Wisconsin - Platteville studying agriculture education with an emphasis on technical education. During my time at UW Platteville, I have spent many hours observing in local, rural classrooms.
