This document is the control center of managing literacy centers on a daily basis. It should be blown up to poster size in color and laminated. It shows where students should be located in the classroom during Rotations 1, 2, and 3. There are flaps included so that teachers can reveal only one rotation at a time. This small group planner offered by "Care About Teaching" can be used to prepare for small group instruction on a daily basis. Use one planner per group. There are suggested categories of content to teach during each small group session. There is a section to list the names of each student in the group, and his/her particular deficit areas. There is also an area to take notes on student performance during the small group sessions.

This planner can be used to plan activities that will be required during each rotation of literacy centers. There are two assignments given each day and these assignments are spread out over three rotations.
