Teaching style

My classrooms involve movement, engagement, and fun! Student behavior is guided by many positive behavioral supports within the classroom and total school environment. A majority of the time appropriate student behavior is celebrated versus correcting inappropriate behaviors. Many academic lesson content is based on the North Carolina extended content standards for the exceptional child.

I am married and have three grown children. I began my teaching career 30 years ago. I have taught Preschool through High School students and found the different ages to have more similarities than differences.
