About the store
I’m a homeschool mom of three energetic boys and have been homeschooling for nearly nine years. Over the years, I’ve learned how important it is to create resources that are clear, meaningful, engaging, and realistic for everyday teaching — whether at the kitchen table, in a co-op, or in a classroom. My background includes study in nursing, childhood development, teaching, psychology, Bible, and paralegal studies. I have also passed national exams connected to K–12 teaching licensure preparation, which has shaped the way I approach learning, child development, and instructional design. At Truth & Arrows Learning, I create resources that are practical, thoughtful, and designed to help children grow in reading, writing, comprehension, critical thinking, and faith-filled understanding.

About the store

Experience

Teaching style

My teaching style is warm, structured, and purpose-driven. I believe children learn best when lessons are clear, age-appropriate, engaging, and connected to something memorable. As a boy mom, I also know that learning often needs movement, humor, curiosity, and a little bit of “wow!” That’s why many of my resources include interesting facts, meaningful questions, simple layouts, and opportunities for students to think, write, and respond in their own words. I value strong academics, but I also care deeply about character, truth, confidence, and helping children see learning as something worth enjoying.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my favorite teaching moments have happened around the homeschool table — watching a child finally understand something that once felt frustrating, seeing reluctant writers gain confidence, or hearing one of my boys excitedly retell something he just learned. After nearly nine years of homeschooling, I’ve learned that the small victories matter: a completed page, a thoughtful answer, a child who asks one more question, or a lesson that turns into a real conversation. Those moments are a big part of why I create resources for other parents and teachers. I want learning to feel doable, meaningful, and memorable.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Science with academic focus areas connected to nursing, childhood development, teaching, psychology, and Bible. I also have an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. My education has given me a unique perspective when creating learning resources. Nursing and childhood development helped me better understand how children grow and process information. Teaching and psychology shaped how I think about instruction, comprehension, and student confidence. Bible studies continue to influence my desire to create resources rooted in truth, wisdom, and purpose. Together, these areas help me design resources that are both practical and thoughtful for real learners.

Additional biographical information

I’m a believer, wife, mom, homeschool teacher, dog mom, former bakery owner, content creator, and cofounder of Pray Mates. I also serve as secretary and board member for God N America. Truth & Arrows Learning was created from my love for faith, family, education, and practical resources that make teaching a little easier. My goal is to offer printables and learning materials that are beautiful, useful, and created with real families and real classrooms in mind. When I’m not homeschooling or creating resources, you might find me baking, reading, gardening, working on ministry projects, spending time with my family, or pretending I’m better at gaming than I actually am.
