Students are given 6 or 12 turkeys. Each turkey has a number on the belly. Students write a numeric expression on each feather that simplifies to the number on the belly. Teaching style

It's my goal to create middle school math lessons that reduce math anxiety and encourage students to try. I want every student engaged in math and to feel successful. If you are looking to increase student engagement, especially with students who "aren't good at math," I want to support you on their journey to success!
