Combining Like Terms - Color by Number Snowflake

Created by
Try-Angle Math
Students practice combining like terms, with up to 5 terms, using only the variable x. There are 25 questions. Once a student has an answer, they make sure the answer appears on the snowflake. If it does not appear, they know to double check their answer or ask for help. The questions get progressively harder. This worksheet incorporates knowledge of integers and using an implied one in front of a variable when there is no coefficient. Please let me a comment and rate this after using it.

Teaching style

It's my goal to create middle school math lessons that reduce math anxiety and encourage students to try. I want every student engaged in math and to feel successful. If you are looking to increase student engagement, especially with students who "aren't good at math," I want to support you on their journey to success!
