Pi Day Activity for Middle School Math or Upper Elementary
Celebrate Pi Day by making Pi City. Students create a bar graph using the digits of pi. Students can cut it out to create a cityscape. This comes with a paper and digital version! The digital version includes video directions for shading in cells. Bonus: Students analyze the digits of pi! They find equations and palindromes hidden in the digits! Teaching style
It's my goal to create middle school math lessons that reduce math anxiety and encourage students to try. I want every student engaged in math and to feel successful.
