I am in the middle of my 13th year of teaching! I started my first three years in fourth grade but have been in 3rd grade for the past 10 years. My main focus is iRead3 skills. This is especially true this year with retention on the line. These skills include comprehension, vocabulary and grammar. Homophone Classroom Banner | iRead3 Aligned Word Study | iRead3 Prep
This unique way to display homophones is more popular for my students to reference homophones instead of a regular anchor chart. They use it all throughout the year working towards our iRead3 test in the spring. I print, laminate and hole punch to hang. I used yarn and it's been holding up well for the past 3 years!
