We are two National Board Certified teachers that have a combined 30+ years working in Title 1 Schools and have led our school to the top 5% across the state of NC in student growth for the last eight years. This past year we led our middle school to have the highest growth in math data out of the 2700+ schools in North Carolina.

6th grade Geometry Unit Lessons - complete 4-week unit (165 slides)
Complete 4-week unit of 6th grade geometry, starting with the basics of determining the area of rectangles and triangles to eventually finding surface area and volume of figures. The slides include "speaker notes" at the bottom explaining each slide. This is the same unit we used that allowed us to achieve the number 1 growth in NC in the 2022 school year.

Teaching style
Engaging and student-focused with an eye toward aggressively monitoring student progress. Our resources feature real-world applications, so that students see how math is used in everyday life. We also coach middle school sports, and work to engage students not just academically, but socially.
