TMT Educational Consultants provides interactive and engaging activities for teachers and instructors who use writing to engage with learners, young and old. We use and teach others the concept of storying in order to think critically, engage with content, and write the self into the subjects we learn.

Drs. Denise and Latrise Johnson, affectionately known as The Mustache Twins (TMT), have dedicated over twenty years to educating learners of all ages. With a shared passion for writing and storytelling, they have inspired countless learners through their innovative teaching methods. Dr. Latrise Johnson is an Associate Professor at a University, while Dr. Denise Johnson serves as a Literacy Instructional Coach at a charter school. Together, they co-authored the book The Mustache Twins: Storying Experience to Love Writing, published in 2020. Building on their expertise and love for writing, the Johnson twins founded TMT Educational Consultants. They offer interactive and engaging workshops for teachers and instructors, focusing on the use of storying to engage learners, both young and old. At TMT Educational Consultants, they champion the concept of "storying" to foster critical thinking, content engagement, and self-expression in and across various disciplines and subject areas. Drs. Denise and Latrise Johnson continue to inspire and empower educators through their innovative approaches to writing and unwavering dedication to education.
