I am a dedicated primary educator with experience teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. In the 2025–2026 school year, I’m excited to continue my journey as a literacy coach. Over the past three years, I’ve immersed myself in the Science of Reading, which has sparked a deep passion for using evidence-based strategies to strengthen literacy instruction. My goal is to empower young learners by helping them build strong foundational skills through engaging and effective methods. I am currently in the process of earning my Reading and Literacy Leadership Specialist Credential and Master’s degree, which continues to deepen my understanding of how to support both students and educators in meaningful, research-driven ways.

Teaching style
My teaching style is centered around hands-on manipulatives, a passion you'll find reflected throughout my store, Two By Two. The name embodies my belief that students thrive when they collaborate in teams towards common goals. This collaborative approach not only fosters teamwork but also encourages critical thinking as students support each other in their learning journeys.
