About the store
Back in 2014, Lisa and I had just finished a day of teaching Kindergarten when she told me about an article she had read in the news about teachers making extra money selling products on Teachers Pay Teachers. “We should do it!” she said. So we did a little research, made an account and Two Creative Coworkers was born. We both waited patiently for our first “Cha-ching” and excitedly called each other when it finally happened. After a year or so, we had earned enough to pay for a trip to Orlando for the TpT conference. We met other sellers, took home some great ideas, and fit in a little fun at Epcot. For ten years together, we “created and waited” and had so much fun doing it. We loved reading positive feedback from buyers, and using our products in our own classrooms. Lisa said to me on numerous occasions, “I can’t believe OUR products are in so many classrooms across the world!” In 2023, I sadly lost my coworker, friend and business partner after a long and courageous fight against cancer. Lisa bravely battled, and didn’t lose her smile, kind heart or sense of humor while doing it. She taught Kindergarten right up until the end, and made such a difference in the lives of so many students. While Two Creative Co-workers will never be the same without her, I know she would want me to carry on our store and the many products we created together. I plan to do my very best to make her proud, and look forward to using a portion of our earnings to put towards an annual breast cancer walk in her honor.
