Use the following lesson plan to teach Addition Number Sentences to your students. The lesson plan will give you step by step explanation you can use with your class with visual aids for better understanding. The lesson follows up with practice pages that you can print and have the students do to evaluate their understanding of the concept. Use the following flashcards to make a hand on learning game. Cut out the flashcards with the ten frames. Turn them over face down. Cut out the number cards and have them face up. Have student choose two of the flashcards that are face down. Students will figure out how many All together and then find the corresponding number that is their answer. Use the next set of flashcards that have the number sentences on them the same way. Have students look at the flashcard and then either say the answer
