TX Math Interventions

20 question placement test to see where your students are before the year starts each question has the TEKs in parenthesis that it is testing the student on. This allowed me to create small groups that had similar skill levels prior to any true test or material was taught. I used this in my 7th grade intervention math class every year and then gave it again as the semester exam to be able to tell where students had hopefully shown growth.

Used as interactive notes for integers that shows the different rules and two examples for each.

(26 questions) Requires regrouping and focuses on place value. 12 word problems and 14 numeric expressions.

8 word problems that can be solved by addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division.

Addition and Subtraction integer problems. 10 Questions that end with a riddle for your students (Riddle answer is Hocus Pocus)

This is 2 different 10 question assignments that focus on addition with multiple digits. The work space provided is like graph paper so that students can focus on place value and neat work.

A 6 question interactive notebook page that has a graph paper work space so that students can practice writing addition problems with a focus on place value and clean work space. (No decimals on this set of notes). Also available is 2 worksheets that have the same layout as the notes but with 10 questions each.

This is a fun addition activity that is geared towards 4-6th grade students for a review purpose. At the end I typically play the song the quote is said in! Students are expected to show work on a scratch piece of paper (my students use graph paper for the purpose of lining up numbers). I use it with my 7th graders for intervention.
