This project has students locate, order, and compare integers using a vertical number line. Highlights of project: - Create an integer number line with equal intervals using a ruler - Locate and draw specified items for sea, land and sky - Write inequalities to compare integers - Absolute value of integers - Allows students to create their own integer problems - Includes teacher notes 6th Math TEKS: 6.2(B), 6.2(C)

Students cut the nine square puzzle pieces and work the problems on the sides. Then they match the problems to the answers or equivalent expressions to create a 3x3 square. Puzzle pieces, worksheet to glue pieces together, and key are included. 6th Math TEKS 6.2(B), 6.3(D)
