Experience
I have been teaching for over 25 years, substitute teaching in classrooms from preschool through high school, as well as teaching in middle school and high school. For the last eight years I have been teaching middle school and high school math as well as other subjects.
Teaching style
From years of experience in the classroom, I have found that most students who struggle with math in the higher grades do so because they lack basic math number sense and fluency. As I reach retirement, I see that I can offer my experience to provide resources to help students gain the number sense and fluency for continued success in math.
Awards & shining teacher moments
In addition to teaching math, I have also taught yearbook and other computer courses that has given me the technology background to create meaningful and engaging resources for students.
