Students will look at the weather data (temperature, precipitation, and overall environment) to determine the season and explain their thinking. There are two charts for two practice opportunities and answer keys.

Four graphic organizers for students to record thoughts and learning about the four seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter). There are sections for what the season looks like, feels like, what we wear, and what grows during that season. Can be used to show learning after a lesson or can be printed half sheet for a science journal note taking.

Sentence scrambles that include words with glued sounds. Pairs well with the glued sounds units of Fundations. Great independent practice for students to practice putting a complete sentence in order and writing it neatly. Two pages of four sentences each, I may add to the file in the future.

This product is a slideshow of high frequency words that I used in a kindergarten class. Each word also has a sentence using the word that you can read to the class while they practice reading the word or you can have the students read the sentences as well.

This product has a total of 6 story problems that require addition/subtraction strategies to solve. All problems are within 20. It is only two pages, however a second format has been provided for differentiation. The original includes a frame for students to write the equation with math symbols provided, the second format is just the problem without a frame provided.

Ready made labels for crafts and activities related to the parts of a plant/ flower. Each part of the plant along with the heading "Parts of a Plant" are outlined in a rectangular box to aid young students with cutting out the labels. Two copies per page.

These labels can be used to label landform projects of any kind. Whether it's a diagram, poster, playdough sculpture, or made with construction paper scholars can label their work clearly.

This product allows students to search for and recognize both the uppercase and lowercase letter they are studying. It is to be used as a skill practice after teaching students about the letter. The letters are presented in multiple fonts so that students can practice identifying in many contexts. Each page has the uppercase letter at the top and the lowercase letter at the bottom. A color-coded recording sheet to go with counting bags or jars. This is designed to pair with bags of snap cubes that represent numbers 1-20, but has the ability to be used with any number/amount. Students will count all of the cubes that are one color (i.e. count all of the blue snap cubes) and then record the numeral and/or number word on the blank beside the matching square.

Word work for each vowel (a,e,i,o,u) that includes both long and short sounds. Students will cut apart the headings and twelve words and then sort by long or short sound. This product is designed for each vowel to be used over a week. Therefore, this product is five weeks of word work. Monday- introduce the sort; cut apart. Tuesday- blind sort. Homework choice boards for kindergarten for both ELA/Reading and Math.

This is a four-square graphic organizer to prompt students to write facts about a chosen animal using "can, have, are, will". A completed organizer about bats for example would say, "Bats can fly. Bats have wings. Bats are black/brown. Bats will hang by their feet." Students can use this graphic organizer to collect facts for informational writing.

Resource is an activity for use after reading Tops & Bottoms by Janet Stevens. Student instructions: Describe the characters Bear and Hare. How are they alike? How are they different? Sentence starters/frame provided at bottom of page, space left in the middle for illustrations.

Students complete the prompt on whether they would like it to rain hearts or not and why. Space left in the middle for them to draw or add construction paper umbrella and hearts. Resource is best used after reading the story The Day it Rained Hearts by Felicia Bond.

Quick handout that can be used as worktime or a exit ticket/ quick check to assess vocabulary knowledge. Students are instructed to illustrate the words translucent, opaque, and transparent.

A simple word family sort. Students cut apart the words and sort using the word family headings in bold font. Students will practice daily and then glue their sort down on a blank sheet of paper at the end of the week. Teachers may choose to use the final, glued, version for assessment purposes.
