About the store
This is my tenth year teaching. I taught third grade for 4 years before taking some time off with my daughters. I stayed home for 7 years, and now I am back in the classroom. My first year back I taught second grade, and then I spent 4 years teaching fourth grade. This year I am teaching 4th, 5th and 6th grade math.

Valentine's Day Writing Activities | Valentine's Day Creative Writing Love Poems
Love Poems is a poetry unit that is perfect for February and Valentine's Day. In this unit, the students will write love poems to inanimate objects. The unit introduces students to the following vocabulary terms: couplets, stanzas, quatrains, and rhyming patterns.
To begin the unit, there is a slideshow that introduces the vocabulary and looks at different structures of poems. The slideshow can also be used to write a sample poem together as a class.

Experience

Teaching style
I LOVE to change it up and keep learning fun. I have yet to have a class that I don’t absolutely adore. Every year I look forward to a new bunch of kiddos to take under my wing as I nurture and help them grow.
