These developmental observation check lists, are a fantastic way to keep a track of where children are up to with their age milestones.
We all know that children develop in different ways and at different times. When a child reaches an age milestone it is important to make sure that they are meeting a general expectation, I say this because if there is a developmental problem it is better to catch it early then when the child is at school and set in their ways.

You can tick off basic learning outcomes and links to the curriculum, write a quick note on what happened for the child, a section for the educator to comment on the experience, and a place for the educator to plan/extend/follow up. Plus a great space at the bottom to place a photo or two of the child and thei
