My own education history

Erin Shortall MAT | Teacher | Autism Specialist | Education Advocate I hold a Master's Degree degree in Elementary Education K-6th and a degree in Psychology/ Behavioral Neuroscience. My experience includes working with both neurotypical and autistic students, and I believe that every student deserves an educational experience tailored to their unique learning style. As a Board-Certified Autism Technician, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of how to create inclusive, supportive environments for students with autism, allowing them to thrive academically and socially. I believe in the power of creativity, patience, and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students. In my classroom, I prioritize social-emotional learning and the development of social skills, which is why I create interactive and adaptable resources designed to support both neurotypical and autistic learners. I aim to provide educators with tools that foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that every student feels valued and understood. I’m excited to share my resources on Teachers Pay Teachers, where I can offer materials that help educators create engaging, inclusive, and effective lessons for all students.
