Unleashing Knowledge

I taught Title I reading for eight years with K-4 students in a pull-out and co-teaching setting before taking time off to complete my reading specialist masters and raise my young children. While my family is still growing and the children are little I tutor homeschooled students part time using many of the same resources you'll find in my store; they worked when I was teaching and I'm seeing them work well when used strategically to tackle specific reading struggles my tutees are working on overcoming. My passion when creating these resources was to do what was best for my own students' learning, and share it here to help other teachers and students. Many of my resources are a modern take on "sight" words, but in a way that makes more sense... sorting them by the phonetic patterns they contain so students learn to decode words fluently.
