Teaching style

I am knowledgeable in Multilingual Learner (ML) instructional methodologies, educational technology, task management, co-teaching, and collaborative leadership. I am an advocate for cultural and linguistic diversity within school communities.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I received the Dean's Academic Excellence Award from Georgetown College in 2019 for my research on ML education.

My own education history

I have an MA in Teacher Leadership and an ESL Endorsement from Georgetown College. I have a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky. I have gained ML co-teaching and small group experience as a general education teacher and a specialized ELD teacher over the past nine years.
